Vice-Representante da Linha de Pesquisa em Direito Civil no PPGD-UERJ. Doutor e Mestre em Direito Civil pela UERJ. Bacharel em Direito pela UERJ. Pesquisador visitante do Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht (2020 e 2021). Membro do Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Civil (IBDCivil), do Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos de Responsabilidade Civil (IBERC), do Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Contratual (IBDCont) e do Comitê Brasileiro da Association Henri Capitant des Amis de la Culture Juridique Française (AHC-Brasil). Membro e Secretário-Adjunto da Comissão de Direito Civil da OAB/RJ. Advogado, árbitro e parecerista. Principais linhas de pesquisa: obrigações e contratos; Direito Comparado; remédios ao inadimplemento contratual; enriquecimento sem causa; responsabilidade civil; teoria geral do Direito Civil; teoria da interpretação; Direito Civil e novas tecnologias.

Permanent Professor of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), acting in both the undergraduate program (Bachelor’s degree in Law) and the graduate program (Master’s and Doctorate’s degrees in Civil Law). Deputy Representative of the Civil Law Research Line at UERJ’s Graduate Program. Holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Civil Law from UERJ, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the same institution. Visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg (2020 and 2021). Member of the following institutes: Brazilian Institute of Civil Law (IBDCivil), Brazilian Institute for the Study of Civil Liability (IBERC), Brazilian Institute of Contract Law (IBDCont) and the Brazilian Committee of the Association Henri Capitant des Amis de la Culture Juridique Française (AHC-Brasil). Member and Deputy Secretary of the Civil Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Chapter (OAB/RJ). Practicing lawyer, arbitrator, and legal consultant. Main research lines: obligations and contracts; Comparative Law; remedies for breach of contract; unjust enrichment; torts and civil liability; general theory of Private Law; theory of interpretation; Private Law and new technologies.
